Oh yes it was.

I guess we have very different definitions of what a game show is. I would consider it a reality series.

Even so, there are various different types of "Game Shows."

Quiz Games like "Jeopardy!" are most common, BUT there's also Guessing Games like "The Price Is Right." "America's Funniest People" and "America's Funniest Home Videos" are Tournament Game Shows.

"AFV" has 3 Contestants sending in their funniest moments ever caught on film in the hopes of earning $10,000, plus an additional $100,000 every 3 months, whereas "AFP" had Vin Di Bona & Company go across America, with sequences deliberately staged, hoping to find funny ordinary Americans willing to compete as Contestants, 3 per show, against each other for a $10,000 Grand Prize.

I guess I'll always think of her from the Whitesnake video "Here I Go Again". Too young to have left this world... :( :( :(

The administrators here agree with me and DJM77 since your thread got moved from the game show board to the reality show board. Deliberately staged you say, game shows aren't allowed to rig things like that, has been that way ever since the Twenty-One scandal way back in the 1950s. Reality shows are allowed to stage/rig the outcome, though.
