His character was the least interesting of all the regulars, at least who I have seen. I haven't seen anything from season 1 yet.

I have to admit that I was frankly relieved when Bobby finally went away!

I think all the characters were equal in talent and I liked Jeff's character of trying to make it as an actor.

However, that is more because of other actors and overall song production/choreography being really good. Jeff Conaway drove a greasy taxi. :lol:

Conaway did have a pretty impressive dramatic role, I think it was a Barnaby Jones episode.

I think Jeff was jealous of the other characters. He was billed second but Alex, Louie, Jim, Latka were getting more attention than him. He said years later he thought he was misused on the show.

I think he was considered remarkably handsome, even by Hollywood standards -- with a face and body like that, I'll bet he very quickly was building a fan base.
