I found my copy of Amy Grant's House Of Love album and I wondered how she came up with the concept and the idea for the album? I do know that House Of Love was originally used as the theme song for the romantic comedy Speechless and because of it's use it became the title track for the album. I also found that Amy had two songs that became covers which are Oh How The Years Go By which was later covered by Vanessa Williams and The Power that was sung by Cher on her Believe album. I liked the video for House Of Love because of the cute little house featured and the album was Amy's top selling album of 1994

Another thing I found surprising about Amy Grant's House Of Love album was that Amy also covers Big Yellow Taxi which Janet Jackson also sampled for her song Got Till It's Gone and I was surprised that Amy Grant sings Big Yellow Taxi with ease. I also found a song called Helping Hand that was a minor hit for Amy and the song was cowritten by Beverly Darnall and Tommy Sims and did Amy choose this song after helping out with a charity?
