Fox wanted out of Thursday Night Football, where it was paying $650 million per season for what had been a five-year agreement. So Thursday Night Football will premiere on Amazon in the 2022 NFL season, instead of 2023.

Come on FOX, get out of Thursday Night Football even sooner for this fall. That way Prodigal Son would be a lot more likely to get a full season renewal. I am really hoping Prodigal Son gets renewal for at least a partial season anyway and FOX stands behind its quality, but it would sure help if they didn't have dumb football and disgusting wrestling crap.
