Launching May 15th on WCIU 26.5 in Chicago and KMOH in Phoenix (Probably 6.3).

Programming will be similar to the lineup of sitcoms and dramas on MeTV, according to Neal Sabin, vice chairman of Weigel Broadcasting and the creative force behind the networks. He described the spinoff as an experiment.

“With our company rapidly approaching broadcast coverage of a third of the country, it may make sense for us to launch networks primarily for our own station group as well as for the marketplace,” Sabin told me. “MeTV Plus may be the first of other new services we develop.”

Weekday programming will consist mainly of sitcoms and cop shows, with evenings featuring “Vega$,” “Hawaii Five-0” and “Mission: Impossible.” Late nights will include a rebroadcast of MeTV’s “Toon In with Me” (the morning cartoon show hosted by Bill Leff) at 11 p.m. followed by “Comedy Classics” (The Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy and The Little Rascals) at midnight.

I wonder if MeToo is still around.

Edit: I guess not. They ditched MeToo and now they have METV Plus.

I guess MeTV+ is just a rebranding of MeToo, considering that word has completely new meaning in today's world than 10 years ago. I hope I can get the channel but it seems like its going to take awhile for the whole country to have it. I do like the idea that this secondary channel will feature more action/drama shows compared to the main channel which is just sitcom heavy.

METV Plus? A second METV channel is in the works and it's gonna debut May 15th? No wonder why my METV station is off the air all this time because I wonder if my METV station is gonna return as METV Plus? Also in addition to the METV lineup will METV Plus still show Perry Mason Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Mannix? Because my mom has been missing those shows a lot but at least I know the real truth about why my METV station has been off the air so long. I believe the old METV Too channel is now Heroes And Icons but I hope METV Plus is great and it shows that METV is expanding their horizons and improving themselves well. Wonder what will be next? A METV theme park?

In my view, MeTV Plus should succeed once it launches on May 15. It should be 100% classic format like MeTV, Antenna TV, Buzzr & Rewind TV(once it launches on September 1).

Less than half of MeTV's daily schedule is sitcoms.

Other than Hawaii 5-O, this channel doesn't sound worth much yet. Flagship Me TV is a lot better, and Decades is even stronger than MeTV. MeTV Plus coming would not be a good thing if it meant that had affiliates in places instead of Decades.

I assume they mean the classic Hawaii Five-O? Why can't the classic Hawaii Five-O go to Heroes & Icons? I think PlutoTV is running a channel for Hawaii Five O anyways.

Between MeTV, Decades and H&I, Weigel already has three outlets with overlapping focus, and this channel will just be overflow of content. Weigel seem to be content keeping Decades niche with limited availability and crappy clearances, that I can't see MeTV Plus being any better.

In the Philly area, I assume it will go to low VHF WDPN 2 which is already the MeTV/H&I/Decades affiliate. Grit might leave since the ION station now airs Grit. Comcast agreed to carry Decades but FIOS has balked likely because a retransmission fee goes back to Weigel, than it being a free digitnet.

The news article that reported this says that the network will only be available in Chicago, IL and Phoenix, AZ, with more Weigel stations carrying the network at a later date. As someone else mentioned earlier, Neal Sabin calls the network an "experiment," so the schedule could possibly change within the next few months or so. I wouldn't expect to see Me-TV+ showing up anytime soon unless you have a Weigel-owned station in your city. So far, only Chicago and Phoenix have Me-TV+; the other Weigel stations have yet to add the new network. This seems to be more of an experiment to see what the response is before they try to push it nationally. Personally, I think they should concentrate on getting Decades into more cities before they add another network that would be competing for the same markets.

Weigel does own the station in Nashville that carries METV, Decades, Start, H&I and Movies! Network. Hopefully METV+ will show up on WJFB .6. They recently moved the tower to a new location and beefed up the power to 1000 KW.

- Posted September 16th, 2021 at 5:26pm
I have just learned that MeTV Plus will begin Monday, Sept. 27th on WJFB 44.6. A link is below for the MeTV Plus schedule. That is all I have about this for right now.

Source was, Gracenote's entry for 44.6 WJFBDT6, which used to be TCT World, now has MeTV Plus's schedule starting on the 27th.

Source was, Gracenote's entry for 44.6 WJFBDT6, which used to be TCT World, now has MeTV Plus's schedule starting on the 27th.I just checked, and it appears that you're right. It's also not just WJFB, there are several other stations that will be carrying MeTV+ starting on September 27th, including:

WJFB DT6 (Nashville, TN)
KAZA DT3 (Los Angeles, CA)
KTLN DT4 (San Francisco, CA)
WCWW LD4 (South Bend, IN)
KAZD DT4 (Lake Dallas - Dallas - Fort Worth, TX)
KYAZ DT2 (Katy - Houston, TX)
KNLC DT7 (St. Louis, MO)
WZME DT1 (Bridgeport, CT)

There's also a few other Weigel O&O stations whose carriage of MeTV+ I could not confirm, but if you receive any of these stations, perform a rescan on the 27th and see if there are any changes. Here are the stations I couldn't confirm:

KREG (Glenwood Springs, CO) [Possible DT6]
WHCT (Hartford - New Haven, CT) [Possible LD6]
KCSG (Cedar City - St. George - Salt Lake City, UT) [Possible DT5]
KFFV (Seattle - Tacoma, WA) [Possible DT5]
KVOS (Bellingham, WA) [Possible DT6]
WMLW (Racine - Milwaukee, WI) [Possible DT5]
WDJT (Milwaukee, WI) [Possible DT6]
WYTU (Milwaukee, WI) [Possible LD3]

If you live in one of these areas, keep an eye out for any changes. This will be updated as I discover new affiliates.

ThanksI also created a list of possible affiliates, and KCSG is one of them. I didn’t include it or the others in the main list because I couldn’t find any information regarding a new subchannel. I would perform a rescan (if you have an antenna) on the 27th and see what shows up.

Is it in Pennsylvania ?

For now, it’s launching only on stations that Weigel either owns or has a partnership with, are there are no Weigel stations in Pennsylvania.

Those other Utah stations are translators operated by KCSG.

They have been running programs since May 15. The big question will Metv_ go national tomorrow and be on satellite.

In LA we're lucky enough to have several different options to watch Decades on different broadcast subchannels - so we can pick which one has the better signal! : )

No one has seen it come up on satellite yet. So they maybe doing a different way of transferring it to the different stations.

I still don’t believe that out of all 6 of Weigel’s networks, this is the only one that won’t be uplinked via satellite. They may have some internal link between their stations, hence why MeTV+ is still only on Weigel stations for now.

We just got 4 new diginets in Memphis this last week, most of them useless: True Crime, Quest, GetTV, and Shop LC. No MeTV+ here yet but no Weigel stations in this market either so it will take longer if it ever does come. And of course Decades is still on that crummy LP station that is almost impossible to get.

For those that live in the New York City area (or possibly any location that gets MeTV's Middletown NJ feed) and have Dish Network check channel 42 as MeTV plus is available as of this post!!!

The volume is a bit low but wow what a huge surprise! Sometimes flipping through channels, you can make some fun discoveries!

Are you sure you don’t mean channel 43 which is WZME? That station is a NYC station and it’s main affiliation is MeTV Plus.

For me its WZME HD 042-00 but yeah its that station which should be showing MeTV Plus right now.

I see they changed the schedule on Sundays, now they have a Hawaii-Five-0 marathon, like we do not have enough of it, I think Monday-Friday 7-10pm is overkill, 3 episodes a night is crazy.
