You may know the brand Fisher as a competitor to Planters but if you're a fan of nuts you probably had eaten a lot of Fisher Nuts. In 1992 Fisher launched Fisher Favorites a collection of different mixed nuts in one can and to honor it's launch a commercial was made. Now if you look at the commercial you can see by comparison Fisher Nuts are better than Planters. This commercial is also first to use the slogan "It's Fisher flavor or it's just plain nuts". There was also a reggae styled version of the slogan when Fisher introduced it's Tropical Fisher Favorites nuts. Fisher Nuts are still sold today but are hard to find but these commercial shows how simple snacks were in the 90's

The slogan that sticks with me goes like this:

"We take the nut very seriously
At the Fisher Nut Company."

My mom is a fan of peanuts and when I was doing my morning commercial research my mom came into my room and she saw a Fisher Nuts commercial was playing on Youtube and she said "Bestie those are Fisher Nuts and I LOVE them" and I said yes and after she left she had a sudden craving for nuts. I guess the one happy thing when it comes to commercial research is you get cravings for food when you see the commercials

It seems like Menards stores always have Fisher peanuts in stock. They are likely available in other Midwestern stores too. Very comparable to Planters brand in quality.
