The writing is just so laugh-out-loud funny and the show seems timeless. Is it just me?

Yes, I agree. It's a shame Michael J. Fox had to leave due to his health. It was not the same after he left.

too bad they didn't reboot this show - or make a reunion of some sort - everyone is still alive and it would be fun to see them all together again!

It is super-funny.
If you search just the laughs, it is the best along Married... with Children and The Nanny

I wouldn't jump and say that the show (https://web.archive.org/web/20140406113111/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/3147563-spin-city-deputy-mayor-alex-p-keaton/?view=getnewpost) was completely flawless. I think that the last (http://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/536447/spin-city-after-season-4?page=1) few (http://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/478034/pinpoint-when-shows-jumped-shark) seasons with Charlie Sheen (https://25yearslatersite.com/2019/07/04/how-the-brilliant-spin-city-spun-its-way-to-cancellation/) and Heather Locklear (https://moviechat.org/tt0115369/Spin-City/58c7711693cef4080d78f14b/Was-Heather-Locklear-the-cause-of-the-shows-decline) really hurt (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031150116/http://www.jumptheshark.com/s/spincity.htm) the show (https://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/490906/spin-city)'s legacy (https://www.reddit.com/r/television/comments/qaxkzw/spin_city_is_one_of_the_funniest_tv_shows_but_it/).
