This is the podcast’s first Wanted episode.

The murderer is RJ McLeod, who fled to Mexico and hasn’t been seen since.

Krystal was murdered by RJ in a San Diego condo occupied by friends of RJ’s. The friends supposedly slept through the murder and heard nothing.

I find this hard to believe. The friends had a baby so they likely weren’t sleeping soundly anyway. Somehow the friends did not hear RJ and Krystal return to the condo, nor did they hear the murder, nor did they hear RJ leave. I’m inclined to believe they helped him after the fact, giving him time to flee.

He was a Marine. It's possibly he was able to kill her before she could mutter a word for help.

Also, he is an enormously sized bodybuilder. He could have easily knocked her out with a single punch, then strangled her. Sad story but you just know they are gonna find this guy.
