Some people think Candace Cameron Bure is 'fake'
During an episode of Bob Saget's Here For You podcast on April 12, 2021, Candace Cameron Bure opened up about the negative comments she receives on social media — particularly the ones that are annoyed that she's seemingly happy all the time. She asked Saget, "For those people that think that because I am a happy, positive person, that I must be a fake person, would you say that that's true or false?"
Saget responded, "You're the opposite of fake." He defended Bure, describing her as "perky," adding that there is nothing wrong with being perky. The actor thanked him before explaining that she wanted Saget's opinion because he's know her since she was nine years old, to which he reiterated: "You're a positive person. So if you're perky, it's because you're excited, and/or you've had a lot of caffeine. That's what people should know — there's nothing fake about you."
No matter how old she gets, it seems Danny Tanner will always have D.J.'s back.
