But the digital over-the-air channels that we all seem to love like Antenna and Me are almost impossible to find unless you look very hard and are lucky to find a good source that will work for more than a few days. This week, I found a website that offers some of these channels for free but others you have to pay and sign up for. Nothing wrong with this at all! Fort Wayne doesn't have a Decades affiliate, so it would be great if this livestream works. And while we have a Me TV affiliate, Comcast has refused to put them on their system :mad:, so a live stream would be good for them as well.

Those dirty rats! I assumed the video would still work now, but it is not available any more. It keeps saying could not play video, there was a problem loading it. I even turned off my ad blocker for the Decades stream and streamlive site, it still won't work. So much for all the shows I would have watched here. :mad:

I feel the same way. I was incredibly pleased and stunned when this worked a few days ago and I couldn't wait to share it here but someone at the site must have caught on and has blocked it. So now I'll have to try again and see if I can strike gold again somewhere else. Sorry!

There was a free Antenna TV stream that worked on and off for about two years and I didn't dare mention it. In any case it's gone now.

I can't believe whoever is running that stream.to site is letting us see them for free, don't they know that the retro channels are what many of us crave? I had both those channels at one time by subscribing to one of the pirate IPTV services until they went under. The retro channels were the only ones I ever watched. HBO? What the heck is that? LOL

Just wanted to point out that with the MeTV stream, people who haven't had MeTV will now be able to watch Svengoolie on Saturdays, who's showing the made-for-TV horror movie "Gargoyles" (1972) tomorrow at 8pm on Me-TV.

and can't watch metv for free any more on that site either. it was working last night and yesterday so they must made the change this morning so i'm not paying either.

This is very sad news for me and anyone else who was enjoying the free streams. I guess I'll have to start over and find other better alternatives that are safer and more trustworthy. I'll stick with KODI for now until something else comes along.

If you watch it at 10 am, you will see "The Donna Reed Show". You'll notice that they are now showing episodes from the last 3 seasons which MeTV never did before. So that's like an added bonus before they go back to the beginning in a couple of weeks.

You are right. Antenna TV does not have a livestream channel and if you go on StreamLive where I found the MeTV and Decades links you will be asked to sign up for its Premium channels.

But I have found another way.......

This free link is from the website IPTV Cat which lists hundreds of channels as part of an IPTV m3u list that you can watch on a VLC player. From the list, look for a green Download button with a + nearby and you can watch Antenna TV from there.

Thank goodness DVDs don't ever go off the air.:)

For a channel that mostly shows public domain content, their website is very impressive. Thank you for that really neat live stream link to RTV, Retro TV. It was good to see it again, the logo's different now. They were showing a soap, "The Doctors" when I dipped into their stream. I remember this soap existed, but as a kid I never saw it. I did use to watch The Edge of Night, more action in that one.

The MeTV one is great.That is good to know about the MeTV livestream. You would think being sister stations the Decades one would work like that as well. But their Avalon affiliate is probably putting on the Decades livestream independently without much of a budget.

The Decades stream is indeed choppy at times. I had that issue when I loaded that channel on Roku the other day. It comes and goes. The MeTV alternate works just fine.

So much for MeTV having a good streamer. I was ready to see the Adam-12 hour, it said could not play video. :mad:

Update on the Private Roku channel F2VTV. Get TV no longer works and has been unavailable for a few weeks. Decades has improved on the stream quality. They still have the rest of the classic channels and have been adding more. Easily the best private channel out there.
