is confusing as hell:lol: Every time he came on the set at the beginning of the episode they were going crazy and cheering like he was a legendary character. He was getting AL Bundy types of cheers and he was never that funny during the series

Only grumpy sitcom character that didnt make me laugh. But he did impress me with his singing and dancing in future eps

Ed could be really grumpy, but he had almost perfect comic timing (thanks to Albertson's years of experience) and delivered some very clever jokes throughout the series. His chemistry with Prinze was like no other. And you're right—he was a fine song-and-dance man as well.

I love Ed Brown. He's a grump but thanks to Jack Albertson's portrayal, he's also kind of goofy at times with his line delivery.
