Back when Nick at Nite ran The Facts of Life, they always skipped S1, E13 "Dope" and S1, E8 "The Facts of Love". Too controversial.

That’s a bit different though. Here the network is saying the distributor never even gave it to them (unless Nick was also never given those FOL eps).

Yes. As far as I know, it was Nick's decision not to air those episodes. But why would a distributor not give a channel all the episodes? Especially when another channel got the "banned" episode? Wouldn't 209 episodes fetch a higher price than 208?

Wait a minute... Isn't "Sonny Boy" an episode where Valerie doesn't appear? Opus, are you behind this decision? :lol:

Yeah, I was thinking that. Maybe the distributor finally thought “Hey, what’s the sense of this thing existing without Barbara” and finally burned that episode.
