10
George Michael Concert

In the episode "Beauty and the Screech," Kelly wins tickets and invites Screech to a George Michael concert that couldn't possibly exist in Los Angeles at the time. She wins the tickets in an episode that aired in October of 1989, indicating that the concert takes place that same year.

However, records show that George Michael's U.S. leg of his international Faith tour had already completed in 1988. Unless Kelly won tickets to the three remaining dates of the tour in Spain, this subplot makes no sense.

9
No Jogging Shoes

In the second episode of season 3, "Zack's Birthday," the gang scores summer jobs at the Malibu Sands beach club. A glaring inconsistency can be noticed regarding Kelly's jogging shoes, or lack thereof.

While jogging on the beach, Kelly is clearly seen running barefoot. However, the moment she steps inside the beach house, she somehow has her shoes on. The edit happens so fast that it would be impossible for Kelly to put her shoes on in the short time span.

8
Same Bedroom As Jessie

One thing that makes very little sense is the physical layout of her bedroom. In addition to owning several items that don't line up with her family's modest means, her bedroom is nearly identical to Jessie's bedroom.

In "The Prom" episode, Kelly's bedroom is shown one episode after Jessie's bedroom was depicted in the season one finale, "Save That Tiger." Kelly's room not only has the same giant window that Zack and Jessie use to sneak into each other's house, but the same Tony Hawk and George Michael posters can be seen on the back wall in both rooms.

7
Changing Colors

During the "S.A.T.s" episode in season 3, Kelly's nail polish randomly alters colors several times throughout the day, often in the same scene.

While sitting at the familiar Max table with the gang, Kelly's painted nails are clearly red. However, moments later her nails abruptly change to pink. The colors continue to alter throughout the remainder of the episode, despite the action occurring in a single day. In the very next episode, "Palm Springs Weekend Part 1," Kelly's high-heels change from magenta to black in one scene to the next despite wearing the same dress.

6
Singing Talents

Kelly's inconsistent singing abilities make very little sense on the show. In the episode "Miss Bayside," Kelly is lambasted for being a bad singer who croons "Blue Moon" off-key during the talent show.

However, in the very next episode, "Jessie's Song," Kelly is depicted as a super talented singer who is a key part of the girl band Hot Sundae. Nine episodes later in "Glee Club," Kelly is once again portrayed as a poor singer who takes a backseat to Jessie.

5
Time Capsule Video

During "The Time Capsule" episode, the students record videos of their time at Bayside and bury them underground for a future class to unearth. When the class of 2003 exhume the videos and watch them, one of Kelly's dream sequence is somehow included in the footage.

There is no way that Kelly flashing back to her time having a pimple during her homecoming run would be included in the video since she is reimagining the entire event in her head. Yet somehow, it plays as if it's part of the time capsule video.

4
Friends With Zack And The Gang

For a show that portrays very stereotypical teenagers, Kelly defies convention. Most head-cheerleader-characters are mean and too cool for school. However, Kelly is a genuinely kind person with a big heart.

Moreover, Kelly is the only one in the gang who comes from a modest background. She has to take a job at the Max to pay for her costume at the ball and has to skip the prom when her dad can't afford a dress. By contrast, Zack, Lisa, Jessie, and Screech are all portrayed as spoiled rich kids who don't even deserve to have Kelly as a friend.

3
Disappearing Siblings

Kelly mentions having seven siblings in the show, three of which randomly disappear for the rest of the series. In episode five of season 2, "House Party," Kelly mentions that her youngest brother can belch his entire name, Kenneth Leonard Kapowski, in a single burp.

In the 14th episode of Season 2, "The Babysitters," Kelly asks Zack and the gang to babysit her infant brother, Billy, while she is busy taking her class pictures. However, not only is Billy is almost certainly younger than Kenneth, neither is ever seen nor mentioned again during the entire series. Kelly's little sister, Nikki, also disappears after having a crush on Zack in "1-900-Crushed."

2
Sudden Disappearance In Season 4

Beginning with the introduction of the new girl Tori (Leanna Creel) in the fourth episode of Season 4, Kelly suddenly disappears from the show for 11 episodes of the remaining season.

What makes even less sense is that, in the middle of her sudden absence, an episode originally meant for Season 3 involving Kelly was inserted as the 11th episode of Season 4. Entitled "Love Machine," the episode involves Screech and Kelly's love machine science project that indicates how much Slater still cares for his ex-girlfriend.

1
Dating Jeff

The biggest part of Kelly's time at Bayside that makes no sense is her romantic relationship with Jeff Hunter (Patrick Muldoon), her much older and unfaithful manager at The Max.

No matter how you cut it, Jeff is simply too old for Kelly. Muldoon is six years older than Thiessen in real life, meaning that Jeff would likely have been a 21-year-old dating a 15 or 16-year-old. Whether morally or statutorily, that's all sorts of inappropriate.

In my opinion, with Kelly having so many siblings, I am surprised that she was able to have her own bedroom.

God bless you always!!!
