Yeah, appearing on each other's shows is a great way to demonstrate you're still close, that that camaraderie is still there. I hadn't seen Mack on Valerie's show yet, but even the social media love is great.

The original FOL girls were very close, everyone agrees. Pamela and Nancy, not so much. And not Cloris or charlotte, either, though Charlotte recommended her for the role.

It's a bit different for Julie Pie and Kim. They hang out, Julie's daughter babysat for Kim's youngest, Julie went to Kim's DWTS appearance and it was a recreation of the set Kim and Julie had starred together in, and they even went to Charlotte's funeral together (with Mindy and Mac.)

Mom had her surgery yesterday, which was why I wasn't on for the rest of the day.

I have had DISH Network since 1996.

Because I live in The Sticks, I could only get two broadcast stations using my apartment's long TV antenna: a weak NBC signal and an even weaker PBS signal. That was it. The local cable company, Cox, had service to my area, but it was like $25 per month, and they only offered channels 2-13 in my area: six broadcast-over-cable channels and six cable channels (TV Land, MTV, Nick/Nick at Nite, and a few others). That was it. I knew what a rip-off it was, but my other choice was to get exactly two channels. And Cox was the only cable company in the area.

So in 1996, I switched to DISH Network, becoming one of their charter subscribers. At that time, they had no-one who could install the units. They just mailed out a free mini satellite dish and a pole, which I bolted to the back wall of my building, irritating my neighbors in the process (the sidewalk behind the apartment was right up against the back wall). At first, the signal was poor because I had failed to tighten the bolts securely, so when it was windy or rainy, I lost the signal. Eventually, I tightened the bolts, after a rainy summer of no TV. :lol:

When I bought my current house in 2011, I had Dish install a new dish (it might have been free install, I can't recall). I have Spectrum for cable, internet, and phone service, occasionally there's an interruption in service but fortunately it doesn't happen very often. The main issue I have currently is my monthly bill has gotten too high, I should talk to someone there and try to negotiate a lower price.

We have Xfinity for our provider, and our TV was glitching for a few days. What happened was that we had to constantly plug and unplug the TV back in, but it turns out that it was just a cable problem.

Our internet also went out briefly.
