Last month, I posted a thread called "Luck of the Irish". This thread had to do with Joey's family's prejudice against the Irish. The way that I remember that issue was that it was expressed through one line and was never mentioned before or since. However, I did not remember what episode it was in or what else was going on at the time. Well, the episode in which this issue was dealt with was on in syndication on a local network at midnight last night. The episode was called "The One With Rachel's Big Kiss". In this episode, Rachel insisted that during her time in college, she got drunk and smooched with another female from her sorority. Phoebe refused to believe that someone as square as Rachel Green would ever do anything like that. The debate over this issue took up a good chunk of the episode. In any event, there was something else about this episode that I did not notice before. You see, ever since I was twelve-years-old, I have had a big weakness for females in boots. In my day, I have drooled over a lot of different babes wearing a lot of different types of designer boots! Well, during one scene in this episode, Rachel was wearing a short skirt with a pair of brown, leather boots. I thought she looked quite sophisticated. The girl who originally turned me on to babes in boots was the character of Julie from "Gimme a Break!". Before this sitting is over, I intend to head over to that show's page and tell my friends over there about my thread here.
