Perfect Strangers star Bronson Pinchot can now fit into clothing he wore in his twenties after shedding 60 pounds during quarantine.

The actor, 61, revealed his weight loss success to Page Six, admitting he was motivated to drop the pounds after seeing a snap of himself appearing in the 2017 competition series, Battle Of The Network Stars.

Pinchot was not happy with what he saw in the photograph.

'There was a fat old guy': Perfect Strangers star Bronson Pinchot can now fit into clothing he wore in his twenties after shedding 60 pounds during quarantine

'There was a fat old guy,' he told the website.

Pinchot cleaned out his pantry and fridge of all junk food, and now eats a vegan diet and does not exercise.

Initially the actor struggled with his new lifestyle, and had trouble falling asleep due to his hunger.

However, it all ended up paying off, and the results speak for themselves.

'I just took off my clothes and put them on and they fit,' he told the site. '"I'm pretty sure I'm the only 61-year-old within a 10-mile radius that's getting into his clothes from when he was a 26-year-old doing two aerobics classes a day." And that feels pretty good. That feels pretty good.'

Pinchot was proud to show off the results on his Instagram account, where he posted a jaw-dropping before-and-after photo showcasing his weight loss.

The before photo showed Pinchot on Battle Of The Network Stars, and the after featured a slimmer Pinchot displaying his toned arms.
'Me. Before self-designed healthy plant-based eating program & 20 seconds ago,' he captioned the snap.

From 1986 to 1993, Pinchot played Balki Bartokomous on the hit series Perfect Strangers.

The show centered on the wacky friendship between strait-laced Chicago resident Larry Appleton, played by Mark Linn-Baker, and his distant European cousin Balki Bartokomous, played by Pinchot.

Subsequent roles included parts in The Young And Restless, Ray Donovan, and more recently, the Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina.

P.S. I pray that I am able to get back to my 150 weight again some day soon if I can't get any smaller. On June 1st, two years ago, I was 240. I fell to 150 ten months later on March 28th of last year. I am currently back up to 195. All of this is the only dieting experience that I have. What I want to know is if its true that a person can eventually stop losing weight once they've exercised consistently enough. When I first started dieting, all of that was said to me at one point. Back then, I didn't believe it, but now I am starting to wonder if its true, especially if Bronson has given that part of dieting a rest. I've started wondering if I should too because of how consistent I have been in that part of the picture too.

‘Perfect Strangers’ star Bronson Pinchot reveals the heartbreaking catalyst for his wellness journey (https://pagesix.com/2024/06/29/entertainment/bronson-pinchot-reveals-the-catalyst-for-his-wellness-journey/)

Two years ago, Bronson Pinchot had a moment of clarity while trying to help his 94-year-old mother get up after she had fallen to the floor.

“She still had all her marbles and then some,” he tells Page Six in an exclusive interview.

“But she was upstairs on the floor and I couldn’t get her up and she didn’t have any core strength to help me.”

The “Perfect Strangers” alum, 65, says that the upsetting incident made him realize that he never wanted to be in that position when he gets older, so he started working out and building his core.

But this isn’t the first time the actor has been on a wellness journey.

In March 2021, the “Risky Business” star told Page Six exclusively that he had lost a staggering 60 pounds toward the end of 2020 after he saw a photo of himself from the 2017 reboot of “Battle of the Network Stars” and was horrified.
