The show is supposed to be set in 1986 but on one episode the kids were going to watch Dukes of Hazzard on Friday night with Harrison but it got cancelled in 1985. Also, on last night's episode Alicia's mother mentions Morton Downey Jr but it did not premiere until 1988. Also they played "she drives me crazy" by the fine young cannibals but it did not come out until 1988 either.
