I was certain that was Max in drag when I watched that episode, but the credits in the episode list The Boston Strong Girl as being played by Jerry Randall, who has several other IMDB credits and was a stunt actor who died in 1974. He did bear an amazing resemblance to Max and the fact that Linda Kaye Henning dubbed his voice added to my suspicion.
