This is so sad, ratings hit another series low. I just don’t see anyway it gets renewed for another season. :( Such a shame, this show is so well written.

The Katy Mixon-led American Housewife has been canceled after five seasons and 103 episodes. It's one of five shows ABC canceled (https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/abc-cancels-blackish-spin-off-mixedish-after-two-seasons.4547098/) today, including For Life after two seasons, Black-ish spinoff Mixed-ish (https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/98267-miscellaneous-messages-mixed-ish-in-the-media/) after two seasons and freshman drama Rebel, starring Katey Sagal. They join Kyra Sedgwick's Call Your Mother, which was canceled earlier today. ABC also passed on four pilots (https://deadline.com/2021/05/abc-pilots-update-drama-acts-of-crime-comedies-black-dont-crack-bucktown-not-moving-forward-1234756614/), including Sam Esmail's Acts of Violence, Black Don't Crack, Bucktown and Adopted, which was passed on Thursday. All four pilots were produced by the ABC Signature banner.

Yep I knew it was coming but still upsetting. This show was so well done!
