I'm glad to own the complete series on DVD. It has the 4% PAL speedup, but I just ripped the DVDs and converted them to their proper speed. The picture quality is very good.

It is a very good show.
Outstanding drama.

I compare it to The Twilight Zone, which is of similar quality, but a far different genre.

Some of the greatest TV shows ever.

Seems like someone could develop a similar show modernized to 21st Century needs.

I have DVD's of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, episodes are not time compressed and run at the correct speed. I like both series but I enjoy The Alfred Hitchcock Hour a little more because I prefer the hour length format with regards to drama shows. So having said that, I wish there were more seasons of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and fewer seasons of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

In the past, a retro channel or two ran Halloween marathons of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, so if not this year maybe something to request.
