I remember a segment where these teenagers, I believe in either in Oklahoma or Texas, killed several people at random, saying they did out of boredom. That one always freaked me out. Does anyone remember their names or what episode that was?

You'd be thinking of the 'Gainesville Killers' - (https://unsolvedmysteries.fandom.com/wiki/Gainesville_Killers)

Not sure about the season/episode - but think it might be in the first 3 somewhere on Amazon???

Such a lame excuse/reason. Nobody kills people & risks spending their life in prison or being executed by the state just because they are a bit bored. Patently there was something going on in their lives/family-don't think there was any discussion of them sadly that would lead these two to basically throw their entire lives away for no reason.

They certainly were disturbed. They were probably too messed up then to know why they did it and consequently still don’t know. More than likely they were two psychopaths that just would have kept on killing until they were caught. Pure evil.

Yeah, unfortunately child trauma is commonly ignored and brushed off. I feel terrible for the victims, and yes the kids were "evil", but normal kids don't just start killing out of boredom.

You have to be traumatized in someway to just start randomly killing as an adolescent. Sexual abuse, abuse, bullying, neglect, etc plays into the development of a child.

Reminds me of the columbine shootings. Those kids didn't decide randomly to just shoot up a school. Something was building until they finally snapped

Pay attention to your kids
