I was just wondering what everyone thought about this. My favorite show dealing with a romantic relationship is Cheers.

Cheers is definitely the #1 show for that. Sam and Diane was a sitcom built around their relationship. Who knows what would've happened if Shelley Long decided to stay.

Boy, no one had chemistry like Ted Danson and Shelley Long. A lot of shows at the time tried to copy "Cheers" and add sexual tension between the male and female leads ("Who's the Boss?", "Night Court", etc.), but "Cheers" did it best.

I guess for me it has to be a couple of shows that feature characters around my age...
Therefore, "Friends" and another NBC show "Ed" are very good at making funny situations out of the frightening world of relationships...
