I guess I'm a bit jaded, but how privileged do you have to be to hate being adored by millions of people on national TV, and paid lots of money to do it?

Boo Hoo. Great, Sally got to do what she wanted, a depressing string of downer movies. No more cheerful positive messages from Sally anymore, now it's feel guilty time and hate your country time. Wonderful, Sally.

I wasn't a big fan of Flying Nun either, but I watched it just cause I liked Sally and her cheery personality in Gidget. Now Gidget should have gone for 3 years and Flying Nun for one. I still think Gidget was the best thing Sally Field ever did, all her message movies can take a flying leap.:wave:

you can see why she hated it; it's a really stupid show even for a "fantasy sitcom". Years ago I used to like it but when it was on TV Land I tried watching an episode and I was like "I used to like THIS??"

The premise was ridiculous. I can see why she didn't want to do it. And Sally was pregnant during the third season.

Really why is this news to anybody? I heard it years ago that Sally Field hated doing The Flying Nun.
