I guess a burger and fries or a breakfast plate( eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast) typical diner food depending if I came at breakfast or lunch time ! ;):wave:

Yeah I figured EVERYONE would say chilli, that's why I excluded it lol

Hmmmm... it may be a good idea to have some Pepto or antacids on standby :D I may try the tuna or chicken salad, or other typical diner fare.

I'm a pasta fanatic, so if there's any on the lunch or dinner menu, I'm in.

It would depend on the time of day I came in. If it was breakfast, I would get pancakes. Lunch or dinner? I would try the chili.

I am giving Mel's a positive review , I think the food wasn't as bad as the customers and waitresses always made it out to be . Just your basic diner fare , nothing special or 5 star but very edible , comfort food !:) I think they all just liked to tease Mel about his cooking! :D

When I was little, I used to associate Mel's Diner with SEAFOOD, for SOME reason!!! Maybe it was because Mel wore a sailor hat....and the decore was similar to our Captain D's restaurant when I was little, done in oranges and yellows lol I might be daring and try fish

I think once someone mentioned Fish and Chips at Mel's, so I might try that. It's funny about the coleslaw, I'm not a huge fan of it, actually Captain D's coleslaw is the only kind I'll eat usually.

What you would order: depends on the individual.

What you would get: horse or spam-based food, depending on what's in stock that day.

I'd eat bacon and eggs or pancakes, if not the chili.

I'd go with a grilled cheese sandwich. It or toast would be the safest thing on the menu.

I would have the Hot Fudge sundae with vanilla Ice Cream. And NO! Finger in it please!
