Was there an episode of Mork & Mindy where Mindy shrank down so small she went into a fantasy world? In my mind it was a two parter and turned out to be a dream sequence...

The episode you referred to was called "Mork in Wonderland". It was Mork who got shrunk, not Mindy. It was a two-parter (an hour-long episode when it originally aired broken into two parts in syndication) but I don't think it was a dream sequence.

I think Mork had a cold, so Mindy gave him some nasal spray.

Mork shrank into this microscopic world featuring all the other characters in different "alternate universe" type roles...

I think it is rather amusing that the big joke was about sniffing some drug...

Didn't Robin have a bit of a probelm with another sniffable substance?

The reason Mork shrunk when he tok the cold medication is because it was medicine intended to shrink swollen nasal membranes. It turns out orkans are made entirely of membrane . Therefore the medication shrunk his entire body.:)
