Ron and wife have been married over forty years (probably closer to 45). Ron met her in high school and basically was the only woman he ever dated and she was 21 when they were married.

I really respect that, a man married to the wife of his youth. Ron Howard has been a Hollywood insider and fixture since forever, but unlike so many Hollywood people, stayed with one woman. Probably the only woman he has ever been with.

Respect. Really. How many people get divorced and just the sewer of sex and infidelity of Hollywood, nice to see couples like this. I have a feeling that despite again, the Howard’s being very wealthy and Ron being an actor and director and very influential, are “just folks”, as in just normal people. Again, it just seems that fame and loads of money breaks people up. Not here.

He certainly made the most of his life, and deserves may accolades.

Funny thing is, I watched two of those Jurassic Park movies not realizing that red headed gal was his daughter.

But after learning that who she was, now "he" is all I can see when I look at her. From the eyebrow to the chin, and from the ears forward...she is straight-up "Richie Cunningham"

Or Opie Taylor. lol. I have always admired Ron. He seemed to have a good head on his shoulders and not influenced by Hollywood. I also like that he was not embarrassed of TAGS or HD. He has always said nice things about TAGS. I was so glad he did the reunion movie.
