Congratulations, buddy! Is Comcast getting cancelled a good thing or a bad thing?

Also, regarding TV One, I just realized that Good Times is back, but probably only for Black History Month and it only airs Thursday nights.

Good Thing, Comcast ruined my last 2 three day weekends. No cable or internet service the past two weekends while I was in due to snow. So I had to go to a hotel this past weekend just so I can get the internet and cable

In Living Color is alright but I HATE that 2000s UPN mess One on One and then the fact that they would prefer to air that over Hangin With Mr. Cooper has me. I don’t like The Steve Harvey Show though.

Amazon Prime and Pluto TV is more than enough classic TV:wave:

Me-TV is digital dog shet. Antenna TV is available with Digital Antenna

Looks like I lose Decades which is fine, the only show I watched was Mary Tyler Moore.

Pluto TV wipes out Metv and Decades. And with the combination of Amazon prime, Pluto, and IMDB-TV in addition to Antenna TV, I dont think I will miss Decades at all

I thought about dropping Comcast a few years ago. I watch mostly sports. I did the math. I realized that I wouldn't be saving very much by cutting the cord. Comcast is still a pretty good deal when you bundle the cable/internet/phone together. I would try to negotiate a better deal to lower your bill before cancelling them. They will usually work with you if you try to cancel them. They will also credit you for any lost days if you complain to them.

YouTube TV used to be a better deal when they were $34.99, but they are up to $64.99. They are also missing channels like the NHL Network.

Amazon Prime is up to $119 a year or $12.99 a month. They are a good value if you use it for the shipping and watch a lot of Prime Video.

There's really not much savings cutting the cord when you add in all these streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+, etc.

The cancellation is not about me saving money, its because I been experiencing too many issues with Comcast wifi and cable services. When the work week ends I want to be able to relax and enjoy the internet and cable without interruptions. You know it became so bad that I had to spend a weekend at a hotel to make sure I saved my last 3 day weekend? lol So I have decided to sign up for T mobile internet service which does not deal with wiring outside. I been dealing with comcast wifi issue for about 5 months. I just dont ever want to be in a situation again when I am home without any TV to watch. Plus I just ordered a Ethernet Adapter for the firestick just in case I have slow wifi connection. So I am making sure I wont have be without internet and cable again lol

I will look into Hulu and Crackle TV. No interest in HBO, Netflix or Disney. And I agree the Youtube is too high for me. Not paying $64 when I watch it for free every night. lol

I guess you never lost power during that time and only Comcast. It was probably a citywide outage. You should complain to them and ask them to reimburse you for the hotel bill for the inconvenience.

I lost Comcast for about a week 8-10 years ago. A squirrel had chewed through the wire. I had to use a dial-up modem via the phone just to use the internet.

It's always good to have a backup plan and wi-fi service in case of an emergency. If you've had consistent problems, you should ask them to send a tech to check your wiring. It also could be a modem issue. They would replace it for you.

Tech came out two weeks in a row and I had the same issue so that's why I decided to go to T mobile since their internet service doesnt deal with wires outside. You plug in the modem and connect with ethernet or wifi and that's it

The channel has declined, too many edits, new crappy shows and awful scheduling
