1. I will never be pregnant.
2. I will never have a period.
3. I will never be expected to wear pantyhose or high heels.
4. I will never be invited to a baby shower.

Add to that: no one will ever be maimed of killed while attending your "gender reveal" party.

Of course on the down side, you'll never be able to fantasize that the guy you hired to photograph your wedding, secretly has the hots for you,...either.

3. I will never be expected to wear pantyhose or high heels.
4. I will never be invited to a baby shower.

1. I have never been pregnant and I guarantee if I was, I would take care of it ASAP because pregnancy is gross and babies are worse.

2. Well this one stinks but yeah that's the good thing.

3. I rarely wear pantyhose and never high heels.

4. Many baby showers are co-ed but I never attend women-only ones. I despise babies and anything connected with them.

Another thing is you will never have to deal with sexism. I've had so many employers refuse to hire me because they think I'll leave to be a mommy. Heck no. Also, many men have tried to sexually assault me which is why I always carry mace, a gun, and a razor and have used the razor and mace (not the gun but wouldn't hesitate).

Having a period is the worst. It's total agony, pain, discomfort and mood swings every damn month for 5-7 days since the age of 12. So it's been 37 years of misery every month. I'm 49 now, so menopause is on the way. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I'm 50 and going through it now I think. I can't wait to be honest, no more periods or fear of pregnancy so a win-win.

I'm perimenopausal right now, so I hardly ever get periods anymore which is great but also not so great because now it's unpredictable and can cause an unwelcome surprise. I can't wait for full menopause to set in. NO MORE DAMN PERIODS! For me, the pain was pretty damn excruciating at times.

I don't either, I can't remember the last time (probably almost a year ago) and so light. My doctor told me to see if I go for a year then it's considered menopause but there are women who don't have them for a year then bam! they get one. I'm starting to get the hot flashes though, I have to run fans and I sweat so bad. I itch at times too (though have psoriasis).

You might wanna try Estroven Menopause Relief + Mood. I take it every day. It works really good with helping to reduce the night sweats, hot flashes and moodiness.

I'm going to try that. Luckily the sweats aren't always bad but when they flare they are bad.

First off, if she did then I wouldn't know. Second, Roe V Wade was illegal there. Third, you are a troll. Fourth, I don't like babies, there is no law stating it's required for me to love babies. Fifth, the angry one is you for attacking my right to choose as I please.

Menstrual cramps are so horrible! I've had many EXCRUCIATING periods when the abdomen all the way down to the knees are in severe pain. When it hits the upper thighs is the worst... well, almost the worst. Abdomen pain is probably the worst.

Oh, it's not THAT bad, well it's not THAT good either ! :crazy:What I mean is it is nature ! When it DOES bother you is if you DON'T get it as expected and you have an unwanted pregnancy, or a false alarm and you are just late! You WELCOME and WISH for the uncomfortable monthly mess than!! ;)

Menopause was no fun, I had very bad hot flashes and night sweats , to me that was almost worse than the monthly ! ;)

I absolutely love being a woman:)

I never had any desire to have children; knew from a young age that I didn't want to bring another human being into this unstable, and sometimes rather cruel, world.

I have been lucky in not having bad periods. I am slightly older than both IllinoisTVFan and Wawwie, and I am still regular, no signs of approaching menopause either (ie hot flashes, etc), I guess I am lucky in that aspect.

I loved wearing high heels when I was younger, was able to dance the night away, in 6-inched platforms (never had a problem with my feet or my back).

Anyway, I never had the desire, or penis envy, of being a man; there is a certain power of being a woman that is hard to describe.

And men, consider yourself LUCKY if you have never been invited to a baby shower, to be rather blunt, they are boring.

Wawwie

1. I will never be pregnant.
2. I will never have a period.
3. I will never be expected to wear pantyhose or high heels.
4. I will never be invited to a baby shower.

I love being a woman, but than that is what I am! So thinking if I was born a boy I guess that would be fine too, it would be what I would know all my life ! ;)I think it depends on a lot of things ,there are good things about being a woman and good things about being a man ! ;)

Rebuttals

1- Never being pregnant - I had two babies and there were bumps in the road here and there in pregnancy and motherhood, but all in all the good times out number the rough times and I love my kids and was / am very glad to have them ! :)I actually wanted one more cause I had two boys and would have liked to have a girl, but unfortunately that never came to be! :(

2- Never have a period ! Although it's not a day at the beach or a walk on the park, we get through it ! ;)

3- wearing pantyhose and high heels ! Hey I had some fun back in the day showing off some leg and wearing sexy shoes! :D Not now, panty hose are out of fashion, girls just get their legs tan or wear tights ! ;)And high heels, well I'm older now and I badly sprained my ankle a few years ago, so I'm paranoid of wearing too high a heel now, afraid to fall again ! :eek:But even still, woman don't have to wear heels and show leg if they don't want to these days ! ;) Womens/ girls clothes are so much more casual and comfortable now !;)

4 - Baby showers- well yeah, the old traditional ones can be boring but lots of baby showers nowadays are unisex and it's pretty much like a regular party ! ;)

So for me, I love being a girl/ woman! My main reason for not wanting to be a man is I would be very afraid to be drafted to a war !:( And also not really being able to cry or show a lot of emotion in public like a woman can! Other than that , I guess being a woman or a man , it really wouldn't matter that much but being born a female I am used to this so I'm content ! ;)

Oh also, men have to he careful, although they can't get pregnant they IMPREGNATE !! Men always have to worry, if you have unprotected sex or sex with a girl not on birth control YOU could become a Daddy and be forced by law to pay child support even if you never want anything to do with that woman or baby again, the county will hunt your butt down and force you to pay up ! That would scare the sh*t out of me if I were a guy !!

Another reason I'm glad I'm a female ! ;)

True but on the other hand I know women who got pregnant and baby daddy disappeared and they decided to raise the baby without the guy. Yeah that would stink.

The George Carlin quote was funny. Her comment "A lot of middle aged virgins on this site" was not funny. Her later comment was even more crude and unnecessary: "Middle aged virgins = sad & pathetic. I suppose it's easy to abstain when nobody is pressuring you."

I have to agree. She might have been, well Wawwie, but I have seen far worse here. Now if she had said "so and so is a virgin", then yeah they would have been out of line. There was a poster that attacked me for no reason at all, including bringing me up in thread after thread I wasn't even posting in. On the subject of peeing, it is very convenient being able to just pop off a trail/go off into the woods while hiking/camping/fishing and being able to pee quickly.

Or even if I'm on the property working in the yard and if I feel to lazy to walk back to the house I'll pop behind a tree.

But I do hate any public venue that has trough urinals instead of separate ones, standing literally shoulder to shoulder with strangers while trying to pee...stage fright.

Overall I think men have it a little easier than women. Men don't have to put makeup on their faces, men don't have breasts and don't have to wear bras, and men don't have to go through that monthly cycle which I imagine is rather unpleasant and not a great deal of fun.

Having a period is the worst. It's total agony, pain, discomfort and mood swings every damn month for 5-7 days since the age of 12. So it's been 37 years of misery every month. I'm 49 now, so menopause is on the way. I'm actually looking forward to it.
