When you copy this url from Wikipedia, it formats incorrectly:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeye_the_Sailor_(TV_series)

and you have to change it to this (so it will work correctly):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeye_the_Sailor_(TV_series)

(moving the parenthesis at the end to before the slash url)

I think this is a minor glitch in the programming here (of course, you have to edit this post to see the change)...

I get all of the posts sent to my e-mail. It looks like it displayed correctly from your original unedited post in my e-mail software at least.

-----------------------------------------------------

How are you posting the link?

This is from using the Insert Link icon:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeye_the_Sailor_(TV_series)

This is from using URL with the brackets.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeye_the_Sailor_(TV_series)

What browser are using? It seems to be working fine for me in Google Chrome.

It doesn't display correctly when I copied your e-mail for some reason. I guess it's not displaying correctly if you just copy and paste the link normally. Thankfully not many links use parenthesis in them.

I did a copy/paste, Safari browser. Possibly a Safari problem--I should have thought of that.

Also this is an old laptop.
