Ok here are my thoughts. Iv'e seen every episode except "Love on the run" of the final season.

The best episodes were:

Bullimia, Sam's Missing Pt 1 and 2, A Tale Of Two Teachers, The Photo Club

The worst episodes were:

The Front Page, Speak No Evil, So You Want To Be A Rock And Roll Star?,

All the rest were ok, and didnt make me bored, as did the worst episodes I posted.

I fell asleep watching "Speak No Evil", which was a boring episode.

Out of the last season ones I've seen so far, I think Bulimia, Sam's Missing and Willis Goes To College are the best ones.

I thought Speak No Evil was quite good, I didn't like Bully For Arnold or A Tale Of Two Teachers.

I thought Season 8 was very good, especially with the limited access to all of the stars of Diff'rent Strokes. Quite frankly, only 3 of the 7 cast members were featured in every Season 8 episodes. They Were Conrad Bain, Gary Coleman, and Danny Cooksley. This is always a sign that the series will end soon as we saw in 1985-1986. Kimberly appeared in 4 episodes, not bad considering she wasn't a regular cast member anymore. Willis was seen probley in about 10 of the 19 episdoes produced in 1985-1986. Mary Ann Mobley likely 8 episdoes, and Pearl about 6. I think ABC was reducing their budget or something when they purchased the rights to the series. Other than that it was a good season. I liked Bulmnia, Sam's Kidnapped, The Front Page, The Episode where Carl Steven was playing an orphan, Lisa and Arnold locked in a photo room, The Tale of two Teachers, Sam's Birthday Party, and Arnold's forgery of his grades.

My guesses were close. Willis appeared in 10 episodes, Pearl was in 8 episodes, and Maggie was in 9 episodes during Season 8.

i think that the last season was pretty good. they could have aired a few more episodes centered around kimberly and willis, but despite this, i think the show ended very good with its final season.
