Christopher Pennock passed away 2/12/21. The Jeb Hawkes period was great viewing on Dark Shadows. Always thought he sounded at times like Jack Burns.

I loved him during the Leviathan story and his character John Yaeger in the 1970 PT story. I think his portrayal of John was the best he did in the show. He could play the creepy villain perfect. Rest in peace Christopher.

I really liked his Gabriel Collins in 1840 PT. He was a very good and versatile actor. RIP Christopher Pennock. We have lost 2 main stars from Dark Shadows recently. One of my favorite shows.

I met Christopher Pennock at one of the Dark Shadows Festivals in NYC back during the late 1990s; he was an extremely friendly and gracious guy. Everyone I know, who met him at the DS Festivals thought he was a terrific person.

Mr. Pennock had a great sense of humor, he had everyone laughing hysterically with his recollections of filming the original tv series. In addition, he penned some equally hilarious comic books, in which he lampooned the beloved Gothic series.

Requiem aeternam, Mr. Pennock.

Watching now I'm up to "Parallel Times(1970)". Christopher Pennock is quite good as the nerdy doctor who turns into psychopath John Yeager. All terrific episodes. They were making a DS movie concurrently so many of main actors are gone. Now the movie is over and the focus is now off CP and more on Barnabas, Angelique, and Quentin. Really hit a boring stretch going off the CP characters as main focus to now "this has been done so many times before". I'm seeing why the ratings plummeted during this period. Hopefully it gets better.
