Every so often my mom used to get boxes of See's Candies from my relatives for Christmas and used to buy them for Valentine's Day and Easter as well and they had good candy but lately I have noticed that See's Candies has gone downhill and I want to know the reason? Is it because See's is updating their stores for a new generation of candy lovers or is it because See's has changed ownership? Because I have noticed that the candies lack flavor and don't have enough ingredients and it used to be that See's Candies was made from the traditional recipe of the founder which made it taste great. A second thing I have noticed about See's Candies is that when you go into the store they seem to have boxes of candies devoted to every holiday and non holiday there is on the planet. Like See's sells Valentine's Day hearts football field candy boxes for the Super Bowl Father's Day candies and St. Patrick's Day green chocolate candy boxes and birthday and get well soon candies and new baby candies as well. And so it tells me that See's Candies is trying to compete with The Popcorn Factory and Harry And David and try to expand the company
Why do you think See's Candies have gone downhill?

I have eaten Sees over many yrs here in my town, but have not recently and have no clue on any changes, but companies do change. I've changed and don't eat nearly the candy I ate in my early life. But it's been good candy.

When I do get a dark chocolate fix, it's Dove now and then.
