Jasika Nicole to Recur on Peacock’s "Punky Brewster" Revival

Jasika Nicole (Fringe, The Good Doctor) is set to join Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson in Peacock’s "Punky Brewster" revival which will debut on the streamer on February 25.

She will play Lauren, a fun-loving and self-assured lawyer whose relationship with Cherie develops throughout the season.

I don't know how feasible this seems. Cherie loved boys. Unless she's either bisexual or had bad experiences with men over the years. From her character description, she's single and has no kids or significant other. But now they give us this description of this character.


I read that at the end of the season Cherie will announce the two are dating or something along those lines.
