Two aspects of today's episode with Puddin and Bengie trapped in the bathroom struck me as highly improbable.

Since the bathroom door opens in to the bathroom, why would Wally pull on the door knob from the outside?

And clearly the locking mechanism for the door was the thumb turn, totally separate from the knob. Even with the interior knob off the door, Wally still should have been able to use his knob (which still had the stem attached) to open the door, once Bengie had unlocked the thumb turn.

Also improbable that Wally and Beaver would be allowed to watch the kid in the first place.

Agreed,....right off the bat my first thought was "I cant believe those parents are willing to trust such young babysitters."

Also, as late as the sixth season, W&J were trying to figure out who would stay with the boys while they were gone for the weekend (Uncle Billy finally stayed with them).

AND ... if the 2 children were rescued out the bathroom window ... then WHO then unlocked the bathroom door ?

The prop man?? lol
