Because of the impact that the third-season episode "Samantha's Protest" had on me, I have written quite about bit about my ideas and beliefs about it on this board. One thing that I have done quite a bit of has been comparing it to other episodes of other shows. Other posters have responded with posts about what they agreed or disagreed to in regards to my posts. One episode that I thought had a very similar outcome is the "Brady Bunch" episode called the "Snooperstar". Different people have offered me different points of view about ways that the two episodes were similar or different. One female poster that I used to correspond with quite often told me that she did not think that they were similar at all. In any event, another episode that I thought had a similar outcome to "Samantha's Protest" was the "Honeymooners" episode called "The Hot Dog Stand". However, it has been years since I have seen this episode. You see, there are two networks that I can pick up that show syndicated episodes of the "Honeymooners". By the way, one of these networks is the same network that showed syndicated episodes of "Gimme a Break!" a few years ago. However, it seems that there is a very finite number of episodes that they broadcast on these channels. They show these episodes over and over! "The Hot Dog Stand" is one episode that they never show. I would really love to get reacquainted with this episode! The only thing that I can think of is that there is some issue with the syndication rights to this show. If anyone here knows what rules and regulations there are for syndication of the "Honeymooners", I would really like to here from you.
