I have an unsold 1983 CBS sitcom pilot The Best of Times. It's missing the intro and some commercials, but it's in decent quality from VHS.
jjvz1989 02-12-2021, 11:28 AM Ball and Chain's script is on the internet, http://www.leethomson.myzen.co.uk/Pilot_Hell/Ball_%26_Chain_1x01_-_Pilot_%28David_Fury_2000%29.pdf, however the pilot itself, there is only one copy, and this is owned by the director, it is in such an unfinished form that he stated that he cannot risk it leaking as it is not in the form that he intended. Save the Last Dance used to be for sale on Ioffer way back when.
X1222 02-21-2021, 08:32 PM I recall seeing Save the Last Dance on i-offer. Didn't prioritize.. oh well, it will turn up eventually.
Spiny Norman 01-01-2022, 06:00 AM The hieroglyph script is online... I wish the video was!!
darkrage6 01-05-2022, 06:57 PM Lost in Oz and Fearless are on TV Vault and I can get them for you, do you have a list of TV shows/movies you have?
BTW it turns out there are actually two unsold pilots for the WB with the name of "Joint Custody" the one on TV Vault is for a 2005 show and i'm not 100% sure if that's the one you are thinking of, here is the plot synopsis just in case: "
A young man (D'Agosto) comes home from Stanford to find his parents (Henner and Fuller) have divorced without telling him, and his once-adorable younger sister (Sloan) has turned into a sarcastic alcoholic."
Is that the one you are thinking of?
The one from 2004 I can't find any info on except for one review on IMDB and it Stars
Andy Daly, J.P. Manoux and Virginia Hamilton
Cheetah Girls is on Disney Plus.
jjvz1989 01-14-2022, 07:18 AM The Lost in OZ he is referring to is the 1999 Tim Burton produced version, not the Melissa George Pilot.

The Cheetah Girls he is speaking about is an aborted tv series that is rumored to exist.

Nope, never even heard of that tracker until now, but I do have access to Cinemageddon.
Videoranger007 01-21-2022, 12:07 AM I have the Tim Burton Lost in Oz pilot film
darkrage6 01-27-2022, 09:02 PM There's a guy on the Lost Media Wiki that says he has over 350 unaired/hard to find pilots, so maybe try asking him if he has any of these:https://forums.lostmediawiki.com/thread/8170/unaired-pilots-help-lost-media

For example there was a collection of pilots on one of these sites above, but it was all things like Alexander the Great 1968 pilot (West/Shatner).
Only rarely does something new emerge from the woods. :(
In other words I still haven't seen Hieroglyph. :(

That is the Lost in Oz version I’m looking for I believe! Very interested in it.

That’s true but you never know. I’ve been dormant for a while now so I’m in a grail hunting mood. Haven’t been in here since I got conned last yeae.

Nothing there. Thanks for heads up though! I’m going hunting on that site later.

And new stuff does still show up - but more often than not on youtube!
So many things still to be found. Even very very old stuff. By chance I saw there was a "Mouse that roared" pilot made (related to the movie with Peter Sellers) in the sixties.
There's always more than you even know, is what I'm trying to say.
X1222 08-19-2022, 05:45 PM Every now and then, I find a grail on youtube. Resurrection Blvd S2-3 has been one of the most elusive shows I've ever sought.
Harder to find the pilots I'm looking for. Almost need to find someone involved with production to locate.

Beane's of Boston (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rry-zw1buo) or Space force (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vroANVFNcFY) were uploaded based on very old betamax (presumably) tapes. Simply amazing pieces of luck that people still had late 1970s tapes.
But Hardwicke house (https://www.youtube.com/c/MarkPickett33/search?query=hardwicke) (an unaired UK series rather than pilot) were all put on youtube by one of the creators. Well, it stands to reason doesn't it? If it's never been broadcast, the only way is as an inside job.
Snavely (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxPUpq-vV54) was also from cast/crew but not intended to go public. That is the dilemma isn't it. It's a bit rotten if someone gives you access in good faith to then just go behind his back and start selling/trading it.
Also, I believe the most obvious people to go to are now on their guard. I once got a reply, not unfriendly, from the man who made the Oh no not them opening animation, but he stopped replying altogether, no doubt because people wouldn't leave him alone. Can't blame him.
X1222 08-24-2022, 10:29 AM I’m on it. Not the Lost in Oz I’m seeking. Think I uploaded the Joint Custody in question lol Lost in Oz and Fearless are on TV Vault and I can get them for you, do you have a list of TV shows/movies you have?

Solid point. It’s tough. I really want to see some of those just once, but I like to give back too. Thrill of the chase finding the rare stuff.
Spiny Norman 08-24-2022, 11:14 AM Solid point. It’s tough. I really want to see some of those just once, but I like to give back too. Thrill of the chase finding the rare stuff.Generally the writers/creators of shows like "H.U.D." have a copy.
It's just that there's no way they're just going to hand that to us (they might even face consequences if they would). :(
But suppose they did. Then us spreading it further via trade, or dumping it straight to youtube/archive, would be a bit like kicking them in the nuts - it would be ungrateful.
So I believe there are some collectors who may have rare stuff but never mention it because they agreed not to show it to anyone else.
