I ate Carl's Jr. for dinner yesterday and I seem to think that Carl's Jr. has changed it's image? Take for instance I noticed that the hamburgers now have ciabatta buns and have a new different taste but when I have eaten at Carl's Jr. many times the hamburgers were great. Is this because Carl's Jr. is trying something new? Another thing is that Carl's Jr. used to have awesome breakfasts but now it seems that all Carl's Jr. has are french toast sticks for their breakfasts and it makes me think that ever since Hardee's bought Carl's Jr they want to change their image to attract a better crowd. The last thing I noticed is that Carl's Jr. used to have good french fries but I noticed that the french fries taste different now. Also their criss-cut fries taste different and it seems that Carl's Jr. gives you a tiny amount of criss-cut fries with your order. Could this be the end of Carl's Jr.?

FWIW,I have experienced the old Hardees, Carls Jr, and the new Hardees.
I haven't been in a Carls Jr in over 15 years, so my opinion there might be outdated.

But the Carl's Jr that I knew for 10 years in Los Angeles, was awesome. If they are moving away from that, then that is a real shame.

The Hardee's I knew from 25 years ago on the East coast, sukked. It was like a Burger Chef......not really bad food, but not anything to brag about, either.

The Hardee's they are doing now out east, they just built one in my town 5 years ago....is a HUGE improvement over the old Hardee's

So, if anything, I'd say that Carl's improved Hardee's when they bought them. The new Hardee's in my town is more like a Carl's Jr than a Burger Chef, and for that I am thankful.

If you have a real Carl's Jr where you live, then you probably have a Jack in The Box, as well as an In-N-Out available as well. Neither of which is near where I am.

So, it's hard for me to feel too sorry for your suffering.

You got it made.

I always thought it was weird that they were trying to shoehorn Hardee's and Carl's Jr as one type of restaurant. I always knew Hardee's for their breakfasts. I would never go to Carl's Jr. for breakfast. I'm glad they have apparently stopped treating these chains as twins. They are not the same place.
