Is it plausible that George and Cindy Anthony made a decision to cover up their daughter Casey’s involvement in her daughter Caylee’s death?

It's interesting that you brought this case up CB, because it still makes me see red to this day! (I'd like to apologize in advance for any ranting I might do, lol).

First thing first. In answer to your question CB, anything is possible and your theory is certainly plausible IMO. That said, there are a couple of reasons why I don't believe it's the case however. For one thing, IIRC Cindy Anthony was the one who called Casey out on her BS and was the one who ultimately led the charge on reporting the child missing to LE. I can't imagine her doing any of that only to later cover up Casey's alleged crimes. Second of all, even if George and Cindy Anthony initially intended to "cover" for Casey, I can't imagine them continuing to do so after Casey threw George under the bus by accusing him not only of molesting her, but also of coercing her into covering up what she alleged was Caylee's accidental death. This is all JMO of course, and how I perceived the events of this case.

Now onto the rant portion of my post, lol. I personally have always believed that Casey Anthony was 100% guilty of killing her daughter, though whether the act was intentional or the result of negligence or a tragic accident I can't say. In addition to that, I have always been thoroughly disgusted by Casey's "abuse excuse" defense, and that slimy Jose Baez should have been sanctioned by the courts for offering said defense without any shred of evidence substantiating the claims. I was even more disgusted when I later saw Baez in a documentary about the Aaron Hernandez case. He indignantly cried foul about the prosecution posing a theory that Hernandez may have been homosexual. I couldn't help but wonder where all his righteous indignation was when he was calling George Anthony a child molester in court. I guess despicable, unfounded accusations are only acceptable when Baez himself is pointing the finger so to speak. (Please note: I do NOT consider being homosexual to be despicable in any way, shape, or form. My outrage was in reference to Baez's unproven molestation accusations against George Anthony).

Okay. I have to force myself to be done now, otherwise I'll gripe about the Anthony case all night! Thanks for indulging me all the same.
