(Ralph & Ed are having lunch at the bus company locker room.)

Ralph: “Today by coincidence, a black bus driver became the Gotham Bus Company first black man to get the Safest Bus Driver Award.”

Ed: “With today being Martin Luther King Day, that is a coincidence.”

Ralph: “Everybody matters in this world. Martin Luther King would be proud.”

Ed: “Today, I ran into a black sewer worker who became the first black sewer worker to fix 100 leaks. He is smart.”

Ralph: “Unlike a certain someone that I know.”

Ed: “With what we went through this past year, I would wonder what Martin Luther King would think.”

Ralph: “I would hate to hear it. I want to forget about it.”

Ed: “Black people are great people in this world.”

Ralph: “You can say that again Norton.”

Ed: “Okay. Black people are great people in this world.”

Ralph: “Blacks deserve respect.”

(They sing a song about Blacks deserving respect.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: “Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!”
