The Star Wars series beat out The Office for the week of its Season 2 finale.

With the success of The Mandalorian becoming the number one show I think Disney is trying to make a whole line of Star Wars series like Star Trek had and The Mandalorian is just gonna be the start of the new line of Star Wars series to be made in the coming years ahead. George Lucas thinks that with The Mandalorian now a huge hit he knows that he will become as big as Gene Roddenberry did with the Star Trek series. Who knows when The Mandalorian is finished Disney+ will possibly develop a series called Skywalker that talks about a young Luke Skywalker or a series called Princess Leia that features a teenage Princess Leia or even a series named Amidala that talks about Queen Amidala before she became queen. With The Mandalorian now a hit series we shall see what will come up next in the Star Wars series
