"Celebrity Jeopardy!" alum Aaron Rodgers is lectern-bound: The NFL star confirmed Tuesday that he will serve as one of "Jeopardy!‘s" rotating guest hosts.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback — who announced the gig during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show — joins a burgeoning guest-host roster that also includes current interim emcee Ken Jennings and the forthcoming fill-in host Katie Couric.

icecream 01-12-2021, 07:38 PM This news brings up a thought I had earlier: I bet Peyton Manning would make a great Jeopardy! host.
TSMIV 01-12-2021, 09:45 PM Aaron was impressive as a contestant, so he's the most interesting guest host they've announced so far.
TV Guy 01-13-2021, 12:42 AM Interesting that Ken is getting at least six weeks as guest host, and Aaron is getting one episode.

I don't think it's fair that Ken Jennings is get six weeks to be a guest host while others are probably getting a shorter stint. To me, the fair thing for Mike Richards to do is to give each prospective candidate one to two weeks to prove that they can handle the show and when the season ends, the production staff can decide who will eventually be Alex Trebek's permanent replacement.
1960'sTVfan 01-13-2021, 11:04 AM Ken Jennings is doing OK so far but the sound of his voice doesn't seem quite right for the job, I don't know, maybe I'll get used to it.
icecream 01-13-2021, 01:44 PM I am thrilled that Ken Jennings gets six whole weeks. Even if he doesn't end up with the permanent hosting job, at least he will have a nice run to start with, I have enjoyed his first two nights. Katie Couric is a good thing she just gets one week. Maybe Katie would be a good host if she can leave her politics out of it, but I remember her saying once she hates men.
icecream 01-13-2021, 01:46 PM Interesting that Ken is getting at least six weeks as guest host, and Aaron is getting one episode. It didn't say just one episode for Aaron. I assumed he would be getting a full week like Katie Couric.
Jeopardy! announces guest hosts Mayim Bialik and Bill Whitaker, confirms Katie Couric and Aaron Rodgers (https://www.thewrap.com/jeopardy-adds-aaron-rodgers-bill-whitaker-and-mayim-bialik-as-guest-hosts/)
Couric will follow interim host Ken Jennings, while Rodgers, 60 Minutes correspondent Bill Whitaker and Call Me Kat star Bialik will guest host later this season. A Jeopardy! rep says as part of each guest host's appearance, a donation will be made to a charity of their choice (https://tvline.com/2021/01/13/jeopardy-mayim-bialik-guest-host-full-list/).
TSMIV 01-13-2021, 06:32 PM No to Couric and no to Whitaker.
icecream 01-14-2021, 12:21 AM Mike Richards will also be hosting two weeks.
SledgeBarone 01-14-2021, 06:41 PM Mike Richards was the host of the short-lived 2012 GSN version of Pyramid. He also tried out to replace Bob Barker on The Price Is Right. Longtime TPIR producer Roger Dobkowitz said that Richards was like an A student who knew how all the pricing games were supposed to work and what the host was supposed to provide, but was missing that something special to elevate himself above the others. Having seen an episode of 2012 Pyramid, I have to agree with that assessment.
