I mean it’s funny that she and Fred are so alike which is probably why they don’t get along but Fred DOES go out of his way to be nice and she just walks all over him and never even apologizes for being so rude to him. Any time Wilma calls her out on that, she just doesn’t listen. It bugs me. But like I said it is funny how they’re so alike in personality and physical build 🤣

Oh wow, I never knew her first name was Pearl!:) I love her, one of my favorite characters actually. She's hilarious ! :D But yes, in real life if I knew a woman like her , I would find her to be pretty rude and wonder why she was so mean to her Son in law ? ;)

Yeah she can be funny in a way, but I can’t stand the way she treats Fred when he genuinely tries to be nice. If I were Wilma I would not speak to her until she starts treating her son-in-law like a human being/caveman.

Same thing with Homer Simpson and Marge’s twin sisters. But I can kind of understand that more, Homer doesn’t really treat them very nicely (even calling them the Gruesome Twoesome) but her sisters are really ghoulish sometimes, like buying a headstone for Homer when they thought he died. And barely showing any remorse towards Marge when Homer had his triple bypass.

In the movies, Wilma's family were high society and Pearl didn't like Fred because she felt Wilma married way beneath her. In the cartoon though, Wilma's mother didn't seem that ritzy though.
