I know Sam Nelson was supposed to make the dvds of all episodes. I haven’t heard from him in years, so does anyone know what’s going on with that?

Sadly, nothing ever happened with that. He got way in over his head with that project. I just he would be honest with those who gave money to his project.

Thank you for responding! I was so excited about this. Yes, he could have at least let us know.

One excuse was the condition of some of the films. Properly stored 35mm films should be in good condition, but who knows if they were properly stored?

I would be happy with anything viewable. If nothing else, put together a set on the episodes that are known to be missing.

So would I. Some that I purchased weren’t top quality but I could still watch them. Technology in the 50’s wasn’t what it is today so we wouldn’t expect it to be great.

OH Nuts!

It was a big undertaking. But I do think he tried to do what he promised, but got real embarrassed and ashamed that it was FAR MORE INVOLVED tgan he imagined.

I’m always skeptical of these things so I only gave $50. And got a picture, a nice t-shirt and a mention. But then got a weird email that to get access to the original 5 Eps I was promised I had to send him my password to protect others from breaking in. At that point I said to heck with it. I’ll just live with the public domain offerings.
