This January getTV is adding more classics from the Sony Pictures Television library. Starting Monday, January 18, primetime gets a makeover starting at 6pm. The dramas Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer, Starsky & Hutch, Charlie's Angels and Hart to Hart all join the schedule and will air weekdays between 6pm-11pm for some '70s & '80s fun. They replace Good Times, Sanford & Son and All in the Family, but those three shows will still air elsewhere on the schedule (in fact immediately following these dramas starting at 11pm in late fringe). The only series that will be totally leaving the schedule are Married...with Children, Hot in Cleveland and The Johnny Cash Show. On weekends, three of the four new series will air in late fringe starting at 10pm with Starsky & Hutch, Charlie's Angels, and Hart to Hart airing back-to-back episodes each from 10pm-4am. Currently Mike Hammer is not airing on any diginet, but the other three are on COZI TV. Hart to Hart will be leaving COZI TV as we mentioned last week, but both Starsky & Hutch, & Charlie's Angels will still remain and air on both COZI and getTV. View the full getTV January 2021 schedule, which includes other series from the Sony library such as The Steve Harvey Show but also series from other libraries such as Universal's Amen.

That's what I'd like to know. Maybe it'll end up happening in 2021.

I’m surprised they haven’t renamed the whole thing. GetTV is not a great name and doesn’t reflect that the content comes from the Sony/Columbia library.

It's sister channel is SONY Movie Channel, so I wonder how if it will transition out if getTV airs more movies. I wish Sling would pick up both getTV and SONY Movie Channel, as it's parent company Dish Network has both on the satellite service.

As for getTV, perhaps with the drop of Married With Children and Hot in Cleveland, it will be viewed as more family friendly programming lineup for the streaming frndlyTV service. I reached out to frndlyTV as Light TV will be ceasing. I'd like feTV to be carried as a replacement, but getTV might be considered.

getTV, Antenna TV, Buzzr and PBS stations are accessible with DVR functionality at no cost for the time being. Cozi is available but without record. Unlike locast, BTV has agreements with the station providers.

I only watched the old getTV with Columbia classic movies and wonderful vintage variety shows & holiday specials. Never watch now.

I think the worst channel name out there for a digitnet or tv channel is start TV. It's more like stale TV.

getTV actually isn't as bad in comparison.

I noticed that getTV dropped the Steve Harvey Show (1996-2002) and now goes from Amen to Good Times directly in its morning block, and Steve Harvey Show is not apparent on the schedule. Maybe the channel wants to stay more classic and avoid 90s at least for sitcoms.

Another thing GetTV has and I don't know why they air it is Catch 21 and to me when has GetTV started showing interests in game shows? If they would replace Walker Texas Ranger in the mornings with Catch 21 I'd be a happy camper

They also advertise watch James and J.J on Good Times, up next. Right now, when I tune in, it's a later episode after James was killed off.

It would be like Antenna TV saying, "Watch Jack and Chrissy on Three's Company" when about half of the episodes are without her.
