I choose Cindy, since she's my favorite girl from season 1. It's really a shame that Julie Anne Haddock didn't have a successful career after Facts. I think she was one of the most talented girls of the original cast, right after Lisa and Kim. And one of the most beautiful, particularly in The Little Chill

Well said, ITA! It really is a shame that Julie Anne didn't continue in the industry, but I think it's cool that her husband is still involved in Hollywood (so she's still Hollywood-adjacent), and it's cool that she keeps up on social media.

She absolutely was one of the most talented girls, and it's a shame the network couldn't count to seven.

Yes, gosh, she sure was pretty in TLC. All grown up!

Amazing that Julie Anne had so much work before Facts of Life, but little after it. She never had any self destructive behavior and didn't seem like a spoil brat either.

It seems that the two Julies are the most popular Lost Girls here

There were a couple of guys here a few years back who were really into Felice/Nancy. Not that they can be blamed: she had the model look, not too dissimilar from Brooke Shields, with whom she was very close.

And of course '80sSitcoms adores little Molly.

But if fans don't start voting for Molly and Nancy soon, they're "gonna get beat, bad!"

...I finally made my decision. I voted for a Julie. It was heartbreaking not being able to vote for both Julies. But in the end, only one Julie could be picked...

In case if another chick fight breaks out between Cindy and Sue Ann, Molly is prepared to take photos again. Now I just can't find the photo of modern day Molly with the camera with the telephoto lens while she was on a safari.

Sue Ann was my favorite "lost" character. Although I don't think Julie P.'s acting was all that great. She tended to overemphasize and sometimes her performance wasn't well acted or believable. Cindy and Nancy were too tame and boring and Molly was just annoying.

I considered voting for Roger because I like the observation he made when he found out about Sue-Ann and Cindy's brawl but in the end I had to cast my ballot for Sue-Ann. I think my favourite thing about Sue-Ann is how much she loves to lie.

She was the one who lied to Ms. Garrett about Tootie and Blair being in the barn during a flood (and didn't admit the truth even when it looked like they were going to drown), she lied about her eating habits (even after she passed out from hunger), she lied about smoking weed (even when the people who gave her free weed and smoked with her were caught) and Sue-Ann was the one who was most enthusiastic about Molly lying to her parents to get them back together.

And then years later, when she finally meets up with the girls again what is the first thing Sue-Ann does? Lie.

Well if we wanna ignore the fact that Blair asked Sue Ann to lie in the first place. Not to mention Blair lied about her Emily Dickinson poem, and to Mr Bradley about her lipstick joint holder. She also lies about going out with Roger! Plus Tootie lied about her secret admirer and to Natalie that her bf cancelled their date.

But unlike the other girls Sue-Ann rarely (never?) admits when she's lying. She also seems to lie about more trivial things, and her last appearance suggests Sue-Ann's thirst to deceive only increases with time. By now she would probably be president!

And I know, it's a shame what they did with her in "The Little Chill". At the end we see that she doesn't believe in or trust her friends enough to be truthful with them. After half a dozen years. That's sad.

I think you're being a bit harsh on BLAIR, Retro: she was never mean to SUE ANN! Sure she would tease her constantly, but so did SUE ANN in her own way lol!
On the 'Fact of love' episode, SUE ANN practically calls BLAIR a slut/an easy girl who would probably go far with a guy if she could. She even compares her to her mother MONICA and asks:
"it's 11 o'Clock Blair, and where is your mother/or what is your mother doing?"

BLAIR and SUE ANN had this friendly competitive relationship, but deep down they really cared about each other, and the proof lies in the last episode: in 'Dope', both girls cover for one another, so there was definitely love/friendship between them....

I do agree there was plenty of genuine friendship between Blair and Sue Ann. If there was no continued friendship, they might as well not have had a reunion.

But, at the same time, Blair did in many ways belittle the other girls, often in subtle ways. And with Sue Ann, it was even more pronounced. Blair pressured Sue Ann to lose weight. Blair pressured Sue Ann to fit in by hanging with seniors who did drugs. Blair pressured Sue Ann to lie for her and indicate she wasn't out in the stables. Blair pressured Sue Ann to play Who's Gone Farther. Blair pressured Sue Ann to park her tractor out back.

And Blair made many digs about Sue Ann. Thinking about the pressure Sue Ann would have in reconnecting with Blair, I'm not at all surprised Sue Ann caved to that pressure. It's exactly what she did with the marijuana, with the dieting, and with the lying for Blair.

I think that's a very intelligent reading of the Blair/Sue Ann dynamic: we see Blair mock Sue Ann: "Who taught you that? Your mommy and daddy?" She's using diminutives to shame Sue Ann, but the fact is that Blair (almost) admits in "Molly's Holiday" to being envious of daughters who have fathers who care about them. All of Blair's step-parents combined don't love Blair as much as Molly's dad loves Molly.

Blair ends up making her family at Eastland. Even when her Best Cousin Geri visits, it's significant that those interactions take place at Eastland.

Sue Ann talks fondly of her family back in Kansas City, Kansas. Miller's Pond. Tiger. Mass drowning victims. But when Blair talks about home, it's because she wants to be in Manhattan, with the "clickety-clack of a credit card machine".

Lisa mentioned somewhere that she gained weight between Season 1 and 2 because of the stress of her parents divorce. Molly's Holiday must have really hit home for her. That was why you saw her getting emotional in her prep talk with Molly and wiping away tears after it. I didn't see anything in the script for that. As I mentioned before, those were Lisa's tears rather than Blair's tears. Must have really been hard for Lisa to do that scene.

Perhaps, but it could have just been good direction and acting, or impromptu on Lisa's part. We would need to ask her when her parents' problems were becoming noticeable to her and how much it affected her during the holidays of 1979 (I sure won't ask her that, so someone else can, lol).

Also, she may have been moved to tears by Molly Ringwald's masterful performance in that scene. After all, the casting director and one of the producers basically said Molly was the best one of the cast. ;)

You guys are absolutely right: BLAIR definitely craved the family aspect of life!
In fact, she would spend the entire 9 seasons talking about how important it was for her to have a stable family, how much she craved for little brothers and sisters in her life, but mostly, i remember her saying on one of the very last episodes of season 9, that the thing she would mostly loved, would be to see her parents together again.....

So yes, in a way BLAIR was a little jealous of SUE ANN (at least in the family aspect of life) and enjoyed teasing her a lot, but at the same time she knew that our 'Kansas girl' was her only true friend in the entire season 1, and i'm sure that eventually she would have learned not to take her for granted, had JO never arrived...

And yes Retro you're absolutely right!

For BLAIR: TOOTIE, NATALIE and JO were the sisters she never had, and MRS G was the mother she wished she had.... (her entire Eastland family!)

I do believe you are right. It must have been a very hard time for Lisa.

I don't think MOLLY was the best one of the cast at all: in my opinion, KIM and LISA were (but i have to admit that later on, when she starred in the JOHN HUGE movies she was great!)

Lisa probably could have had a big post Facts of Life acting career if she didn't get caught up in that strange marriage of hers.

I truly believe she could have continued in a major way in sitcoms, in the same way Nancy and Kim did. Unfortunately, I feel like she was led astray, and the money she had tucked away from nine seasons of FOL and two years of NMMC was drained.

Lisa got back on her feet. Took Survivor to help her do it. At least she didn't become like her one time movie costar Erin Moran.

I hadn't thought of it 80s, but you're absolutely right: LISA could have gone high up, and maybe become a counselor to the new generation to come (a bit like MRS G was with all the girls).

What a shame indeed, that she had to get married and disappear completely from television lol! (she could have become such a great success! What a waste of talent!)
