Thelma was a 17 year old CHILD and Donald was a 42 year old MAN! :eek: He was 25 years older than her! :eek: My DAD and I are 22 years apart! I remember a GT Fan saying something like,"My Husband is 25 years older than me, but I am 50 and he is 75. I'm clearly middle aged. Thelma is still legally a Child. She and Donald even just DATING was Statutory Rape even though Thelma consented. Thelma implied she would wait until 18 to marry Donald, but it would still be highly creepy as she would still be under 21 marrying a 43 year old man."

Fans of GT said that Donald looked even older than 42.
And claimed he looked more like 52. Funny thing is, Lou Gossett Jr was actually YOUNGER than Donald when this episode aired. He was 38. He is 3 years older than John Amos. John just looked slightly old for his age. John looked about 40 when he was actually 35.

And I don’t even think Thelma was 17 yet. I think she was 15 or 16 when she dated Donald. As if that makes it any better. :barf:
