View Full Version : Eight Legged Freaks!
80sTrivia 07-06-2002, 11:30 AM Has anyone else seen the previews to the new movie Eight Legged Freaks starring David Arquette? It's about these gigantic mutated spiders and looks like it might be good. Of course, I have a major phobia regarding spiders! You can find out more info here: Eight Legged Freaks!!! (http://eightleggedfreaks.warnerbros.com/)
DJM77 07-06-2002, 05:17 PM Yep. Yesterday I went to see Mr. Deeds and they played the preview to Eight Legged Freaks. It was kind of gross. These giant spiders were spraying people. I guess it might turn out to be a good movie but I probably won't go see it.
Plata 07-06-2002, 06:47 PM I haven't seen it yet. Judging by the poster though, it looks like the film might be funny. My aunt would hate that movie. She has a phobia of spiders.
Swimfan85 07-06-2002, 06:48 PM please its very offensive when people insult us and call us "8 legged freaks"
Plata 07-06-2002, 06:54 PM Since we're talking about a movie about an insect, I thought I'd ask if anyone here has ever seen the film, Mosquito. It's about these giant mosquitos that attack people and eat them alive. There was one scene where some people were walking and they heard this buzzing sound and looked around in alarm. It kind of sounds like a gross film, but it is kind of a ridiculous story line that makes it funny.

Penny Lane 07-06-2002, 07:43 PM No thanks! Those are the most disgusting creatures on earth! I tried watching Arachnidphobia but I didn't get beyond the first 45 minutes! ugh!

That's funny, that's exactly what they think of us humans! Mmmmm... ;)
The movie sounds interesting. I'm not sure if I'll pay good money to see it but I might get my Aunt to take me.
I personally think spiders are cute.... as long as they stay outside.

80skid 07-07-2002, 07:43 PM Yeah, ditto... I'm not scared a lot of things, but that doesn't mean I'm scared of spiders. :)
