this show was great. Craig T. Nelsons best work ever. and it was a sin that it was cancelled.

It was a mercy killing!! After they moved from Minnesota State to Orlando it wasn't nearly as funny anymore. It was time for them to pack it in.:p

I agree that when Hayden and Christine moved from his cabin home to that plush home in Florida it lost a bit of it's charm. Nah, the characters would have been long since drained by now of potential with five more years of storyline. Maybe a reunion some day though.

It was a sin that they dragged the show on too long. The move to Florida would have been more fitting as a series finale. Instead they dragged it for two or three years. The only enjoyable thing was the last season and a half when Shelley Fabares looked more sexier with the long straight hair.
