I grew up watching every episode of Silver Spoons as a kid, and always wanted to be as rich and cool as he (well, the show's character anyway). I am looking up different shows of the 80's I really liked, and I am glad I found this board...

If you can give me a URL or IRC info, I would love to chat about Rick and see what he's been up to since the show ended. I bet it's a lot!

I tried to log in the forum and I don't manage to do so. That's why I think there's nobody on Rick's forum.

The easiest way to get into his website is throught internet exployer. Once you hit the word that says Rick talk click on that and it shows you the sections Rick Talk and Rick questions etc there is where the postings are.

I find that as a nostalgist, I am more a fan of his character than of him. This is not a slight against Rick Schroeder. he is very talented and I believe him to be an unsung asset to the Hollywood industry. But more of my fanfare comes from watching Silver Spoons as a child.

I think you would have better luck searching for fellow fans at sites more dedicated to his works, than to he himself. Thorugh his works, he is cherished.

Try searches for Silver Spoons and NYPD Blue sites to rally supporters.

OK, I am new to this, but I certainly have not forgotten!! I tried to get to your link from this site, but it gave me an error. The main thing that found me here was to find where re-runs are being played in the NY area, or if they've released a collection yet. My sis taped a few episodes back in 2001 when Nick at Nite did a special, and believe it or not, I used to AUDIOTAPE Silver Spoons during it's run because my parents didn't have a VCR yet. I could fill this entire page with Ricky memories ( I have pics of him from 1982 when I went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and he marched, even though they're kinda blurried) Anyway, I'd love to be back in the loop, so if someone could tell me where I can find the episodes, I'd love it!!! Who's seen American Sportsman? Yeah baby!!!
