Anybody remember Rhoda's old school friends played by Barbara Sharma and Beverly Sanders? Barbara Sharma played someone called something like Myrna Morgenstein and Beverly Sanders played a character who was constantly pregnant. Anyway, they were very funny and were only in the show as merely recurring characters for a season or two. Wonder if anyone remembers them as being as funny as I do or even remembers them at all.

Hi there -
Barbara Sharma was on the MTM show as the terrible waitress at the restaurant when the gang had lunch one day and Mary complained and she got fired. Then Mary tried to help her with a job at the station and she was awful at that. Barbara was also a regular on the Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, do you remember that show?

Beverly Sanders was also on MTM show as the waitress of the coffee shop where Mary sometimes had lunch.

Peace ~

I love Barbara Sharma on Laugh-In. She was one of the few later additions who I liked. I liked how she would tap dance through a scene. And her voice is so cute. Hope she's doing voice-overs now.
I've seen Beverly Sanders in some car commercial probably last year. I forget the car but the tag-line is something like "nothing is what it seems". She still looks the same.

I found the characters Myrna to be funny. However, Suzie was not very funny. Still, not every character on a sitcom has to be funny. Ethel was not really funny on I Love Lucy, nor was Alice funny on the Honeymooners. Every good funny person needs a good straight man.

Remember when Barbara Sharma did commercials for Glass Plus when it first came on the market? She would say something like... "We need some help with the housework, but whenever WE tried to hire somebody, they'd say, I don't do windows! Well Glass Plus does windows... plus a whole lot more!"

Yep, she was Randi, the FEEB from MTM, and Beverly Sanders appeared every so often as Rayette, the server at the restaurant where Mary would have lunch.
